University Drive Extension
The West Boca Community Council continues to fight against the extension of University Drive. Click here to read the factsheet they sent out after the Sun-Sentinel published an editorial regarding the extension.
Tuesday, March 27th, there was an article in the Sun-Sentinel regarding the annexation bill. Tuesday morning, the Palm Beach County Commissioners had a meeting. During the meeting, a motion was passed to support the annexation bill only if it contained the provision making the annexation effective only if and when University Drive & Riverside Drive were removed from the Thoroughfare Map and only if and when the roadway rights-of-way are abandoned. The WBCC sent out an update regarding the motion and the amendment that was filed.

Operation Identification
Once upon a time, you could leave your home and even your car unlocked-ALL the time. That time has since passed. More and more we hear about robberies and vandalism, etc. Many times, if items are located, the authorities have problems identifying the items or identifying the owner of the items that have been stolen. Operation Identification is a program that can help you and PBSO get your valuables returned.
